If you want to play the game without ruining your enjoyment of discovery (which is most of the fun), DO NOT read the detailed instructions for the Quests.Įach Kingdom has all Quests and Tasks listed in the order in which you will probably encounter them, but the order can vary depending on which triggers you activate and other events that occur as you play the game. This Strategy Guide contains SPOILERS for the all the Required Quests and many of the Optional Quests. It makes no difference which Hero you choose, the game play and Maps are identical (different from Westward IV). It’s more like a Role Playing Game (“RPG”) in which you have a Hero (a Prince or a Princess) who must complete various Quests in order to progress. The game is nothing like a Hidden Object Adventure. These are discussed in Appendix 1: Differences from Other Westward Games. If you HAVE played other games in the Westward series, you might already know most of the game mechanics, however there are some significant differences between this Westward Kingdoms and earlier games in the Westward series. If you have NOT played earlier games in the Westward series, this Guide will explain the game mechanics, Characters, Buildings, and Resources and guide you in the most efficient use of resources to complete your objectives of completing all the Required Quests and the Story.
